you are supplied with an instruction leaflet in the tin, it recomends that you soak the line in luke warm water for 20 minutes when you are ready to load your spools have the lable facing upwards and start winding. there are handy line markers at 330m and 660m so you know how much you are putting on each reel,
Casting, the OGX Flys From the spool and once the surface tension of the water has been broken it sinks very well. This line is tough it has excellent abrasion resistance and a high knot strength. it comes in 4 Breaking Strains, 12lb 0.33mm, 15lb 0.35mm, 18lb 0.37mm ,and 20lb 0.40lb.
when fishing Day ticket type commercial fisherys with no weed or no real snags then the 12 and 15lb so be enougth to deal with any sutuation thrown at you, when fishing weedier waters then look at the 18 and 20lb options but please bare in mind you will reduce your casting distance capability. All in All very impressed with this line.
